The UK’s most prestigious cycle race, the Tour of Britain this year comes to the Isle of Wight for the first time. The event offers an amazing sporting spectacle for visitors and locals alike, seeing 19 of the world’s top teams race across the Island’s varied and picturesque landscape.
The race is on the Isle of Wight on 11th September, with the final of eight exciting stages starting from Ryde and arriving in Ventnor at around 2pm, passing along Leeson Road, Albert Street, Ventnor Esplanade, Bath Road and Gills Cliff Road. The race concludes at the Needles Battery.
